Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, conducted an inspection tour of the Imam Al-Shafi'i area to monitor the ongoing development work and assess the progress of its implementation.
The development work aims to improve road efficiency and enhance the urban environment in a manner befitting the historical and cultural significance of the area, thereby contributing to providing better services for citizens.
During the tour, the Governor emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timelines for completing the work. He affirmed the state's strong commitment to developing areas of historical character in a way that preserves their identity and improves the level of services provided.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber also inspected the site of the new bus station currently under construction, which will house the Sayeda Aisha bus station. This relocation is part of the governorate's plan to reorganize public transportation hubs, reduce traffic congestion, improve traffic flow, and provide a modern and safe environment for citizens. He noted that the location of the new station was carefully chosen to ensure easy access and serve the largest possible number of citizens.
The Governor directed the executive authorities to expedite the completion of the ongoing work at the new station, emphasizing the need to provide all necessary services to guarantee a high-quality service befitting the citizens of Cairo Governorate.
